Information about the procedure
Pursuant to the Act of April 4, 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities, everyone has the right to submit comments regarding the digital accessibility of a website or its element, to submit a request to ensure the digital accessibility of a website or its element, to request that inaccessible information be made available in another alternative form. The request must include: contact details of the person submitting the request, an indication of the page or element of the page to which the request relates, an indication of a convenient form of providing information if the request concerns providing unavailable information in an alternative form.

The application should be considered immediately, no later than within 7 days. If it is not possible to ensure accessibility or provide access in an alternative form within this deadline, it should be done no later than 2 months from the date of notification.

If a public entity refuses to comply with a request to ensure accessibility or an alternative method of access to information, the person making the request may file a complaint regarding the digital accessibility of the website, mobile application or element of the website or mobile application.

After exhausting the procedure indicated above, you can also submit an application to the Ombudsman.

Architectural accessibility of the buildings of the Marshal’s Office of the Wielkopolska Region

Entry availability
The main entrance to the building is located from al. Independence. The revolving door and a parallel push-button door for people with special needs are located on the same level as the area around the building. The entrance is open to the public during office hours, i.e. from Monday to Friday from 07.30 to 15.30.

Parking availability
Next to the building from ul. Saint Barbara has two public, free parking spaces for people with special needs. In case of full occupancy, please contact the building security at the telephone number located on the facade opposite the parking spaces.

There are paved entrances and textured paths for the blind to the building. There are no difficulties with entering the wheelchair from the parking space to the access leading to the building.

There are public transport stops near the building called “Marshal’s Office”. You can reach the Office by bus numbers 168, 169 and 171.

Building accessibility
A TOTUPOINT marker is installed in front of the entrance door to the building, indicating the main entrance of the Marshal’s Office of the Wielkopolska Region in Poznań and providing information about the spatial arrangement of floors 0 and 1 of the building. In the building, on the left side of the entrance, there is a typhlomap informing about the spatial layout of the building. On the ground floor of the building, in front of the main entrance, there is an Information Point, operated by an employee using sign language and equipped with an induction loop.

Access to the upper floors is provided by a set of four passenger elevators with voice information, located in the main hall. The buttons on the elevator call board have markings convenient for people with special needs. The elevator adapted for people with special needs is marked. In the main hall there are stairs leading to the first floor, tactile and contrast markings to facilitate navigation for blind and visually impaired people. On the first floor there is the Main Information Point of European Funds, equipped with an induction loop and access to online sign language translation.

On floor 0 and on floors 2 to 11 there are hygienic and sanitary rooms adapted for people with special needs, equipped with a calling system (bells). All hygiene and sanitary rooms on level 0 are tactilely described.

You can enter the building with an assistance dog and a guide dog.

The Marshal’s Office of the Wielkopolska Region in Poznań has developed procedures for the evacuation of people with disabilities.

If you are unable to reach a given office building located on higher floors on your own, you can get an employee to come down or get help to get to a given floor. To obtain assistance, please contact an employee of the Information Point located in the main hall.
