4 March 2026Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in the city of Kalisz and Kalisz County that are planning to undertake investment projects can take advantage of free expert support through the Life After Coal PL project.
If your company is planning to modernize, expand, upgrade its technology, improve energy efficiency, or implement environmentally friendly solutions, we can assist you with the technical preparation of your project from an energy and environmental perspective.
What does the support entail?
As part of the project, we are providing funding for specialized studies and analyses that will enable:
- assess the validity of the proposed solutions,
- reduce future energy and operating costs,
- improve resource efficiency,
- prepare the company for the requirements of the energy and climate transition,
- plan the investment in a way that aligns with the goal of climate neutrality.
The support is advisory and expert in nature—the company does not bear the costs of preparing the reports.
The scope of available support includes, among other things:
Energy Audits
Conducting a comprehensive energy audit or preparing an energy assessment to serve as the basis for investment decisions.
Energy Efficiency
An analysis of the potential for reducing energy consumption in the company, along with recommendations for specific modernization measures.
Green technologies
Support for the selection and implementation of modern, energy-efficient, and resource-efficient technological solutions, including the transition to renewable energy sources (RES).
Transformation Strategy
Developing expert analyses and recommendations regarding a comprehensive green transformation of the company—both in terms of technology and organization.
Other environmental assessments
Analyses tailored to the specific nature of the company’s operations and the planned investment.
What does the process look like?
The scope of support is determined on a case-by-case basis, based on the company’s needs and the nature of the planned investment. Following an initial consultation with a Climate Advisor, the scope of the study and the schedule for the expert work are established.
The goal is to provide businesses with a solid foundation for making investment decisions and to enhance their competitiveness amid the ongoing energy transition.
