One of the many goals of our project is to promote electromobility. The electrification of road transport can significantly reduce CO2 emissions and bring Eastern Wielkopolska closer to climate neutrality, which is a priority of the “Life after Coal” project.
Goal: Climate Neutrality in 2040
On January 24, we conducted a training on electromobility for our Climate Advisors. Agata Kuźmińska from the Green Future Institute Foundation (one of the program’s beneficiaries) shared her knowledge and passion for modern transport solutions with us.
Climate advisors, who play a key role in the project, will travel around the coalfields of Eastern Wielkopolska in electric cars. We hope that this will be inspiring for local communities and help break stereotypes related to electromobility.
Equipped with new knowledge, climate advisors will actively help residents obtain funds for pro-ecological investments, such as thermal modernization of houses. Additionally, they will be able to conduct a simplified energy audit of the building, which will be a tangible support for local communities. We are excited about the prospects that these activities bring and we look forward to effective cooperation between our climate advisors and the residents of our beautiful region.
