Life After Coal: Training on the Circular Economy in Construction
30 October 2025

As part of the Life After Coal project, we invite representatives of local governments and project partners to a training session on the circular economy in the construction sector.

The meeting will provide an opportunity to learn about practical solutions that enable a more environmentally friendly approach to the construction process—from reusing materials generated during construction to utilizing recycled materials and analyzing the relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

The training will be led by Gabriel Martysz—an expert in construction, civil engineering, public procurement, and economics, as well as a specialist in the testing of construction products.

Training date: November 14, 2025

Location: SNRSS Branch in Konin, 7 Wrzosowa Street
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.

The training program includes, among other things:

  • The construction process as a “living organism” – legal foundations.
  • The closed-loop system on a construction site: how to reuse materials generated during the construction process.
  • Formal requirements for contractors to make the construction process more environmentally friendly.
  • The Use of Recycled Materials: Legal and Technical Aspects.
  • “Eco-concrete” and “Eco-mixtures” as examples of environmentally friendly solutions.
  • A case study on the implementation of environmental measures at a construction site.

We warmly invite you to join us for this training session and work together to find ways to achieve more sustainable construction.

The workshops are aimed at local governments and partners in the Life After Coal project.

Please confirm your attendance by Friday, November 7, 2025, preferably by email.
