On Saturday, June 14, the Life After Coal PL project team took part in the “Piknik na Fest” picnic in Konin. This unique event was a great opportunity to discuss the future of Eastern Greater Poland in terms of climate neutrality efforts.
At our stand, we talked about the changes taking place in the region and how we can work together to build a green, safe future after coal. We talked to residents about their hopes, needs, and ideas, and answered questions about the Life After Coal PL project and the Eastern Greater Poland Climate Neutrality Strategy 2040.
There were also attractions for children – an educational exhibition on renewable energy, run by our partner, the Poznań Science and Technology Park, proved very popular. Adults, on the other hand, eagerly visited the electromobility stand, where they could talk to our experts from the Green Future Institute Foundation.
Thank you to everyone who visited our stand! Such meetings reinforce our belief that transformation only makes sense when it is carried out together with people and for people.
