On September 20, 2024. a handover ceremony was held for more electric cars, which will operate as part of the project’s “mini car sharing” network.
Two more cars under the LIFE After Coal PL project are already on the roads of Eastern Wielkopolska. Four of the seven cars have already been handed over as part of the “mini car sharing” network, a pilot concept for car sharing between different local government units.
The cars will support the work of climate advisors, as well as promote electromobility in the area of Turek County, including, in particular, the municipalities of Dobra, Kawęczyn, Malanów, Przykona, Turek Municipality and the City of Turek, as well as the city of Kalisz and Ostrów Wielkopolski, i.e., the city of Turek. municipalities that are also beneficiaries of the project.
The cars were received by the Mayor of the City of Turek, Romuald Antosik, and the Head of the Department of Municipal Economy and Environmental Protection of the Kalisz City Hall, Paweł Bąkowski.
