17 January 2024The Local Government of the Wielkopolska Region announces the Competition for the Marshal’s Award “Wielkopolska for Planet 2030” edition 2024.
We invite you to participate:
- In the “Science” category of PhDs and postdocs,
- In the “Business” category of entrepreneurs.
The “Science” category is addressed to PhDs and postdocs who focus their scientific activity on topics related to the need for integrated action in the economic, social and climate protection areas. The “Business” category, on the other hand, is aimed at regional companies applying innovative solutions within the six smart specializations for Wielkopolska.
The purpose of the competition is to promote Wielkopolska’s contribution to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals of the SDGs and to promote the transfer of knowledge to the economy, which will enable real changes that take into account pro-climate solutions in all areas of socio-economic life.
Attractive prizes await the winner:
- In the “Science” category – a trip prize: participation in the World Al Show Singapore from 31.07.-5.08.2024 or a 2-week stay at Danau Girang Field Centre (Borneo, Malaysia) in July 2024,
- In the category “Business” – financial award: PLN 50,000.
To enter the competition, the entry form and consent to image processing (which are appendices to the regulations) must be completed and sent electronically to: drg.sekretariat@umww.pl by the deadline of January 22, 2024.
