{"id":4106,"date":"2024-12-07T13:28:00","date_gmt":"2024-12-07T13:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lifeaftercoal.pl\/life-has-brought-us-together-conference\/"},"modified":"2025-04-08T07:34:51","modified_gmt":"2025-04-08T07:34:51","slug":"life-has-brought-us-together-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lifeaftercoal.pl\/en\/life-has-brought-us-together-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cLIFE has brought us together\u201d conference"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On 5.12.2024. &#8211; 06.12.2024, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/people\/Life-After-Coal-PL\/61554754651239\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>LifeAfterCoalPL<\/strong><\/a> project was presented at the Conference \u201cLinked by LIFE\u201d organized by the project <a href=\"https:\/\/pl.linkedin.com\/showcase\/ekoma%C5%82opolska-dla-klimatu\/?trk=public_post-text\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>EcoMalopolska Project for Climate,<\/strong><\/a> where our project was represented by <a href=\"https:\/\/pl.linkedin.com\/in\/tomaszszyd%C5%82owski?trk=people-guest_people_search-card\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Tomasz Szyd\u0142owski<\/strong><\/a>  <strong> <\/strong>&#8211; Member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/people\/Life-After-Coal-PL\/61554754651239\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>LifeAfterCoalPL<\/strong><\/a> Project Coordinating Team.<\/p>\n\n<p>On the first day during the opening speeches of the conference spoke: <a href=\"https:\/\/pl.linkedin.com\/in\/justyna-mazurkiewicz-ab980912a?trk=public_post-text\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Justyna Mazurkiewicz<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; Manager of the <a href=\"https:\/\/pl.linkedin.com\/showcase\/ekoma%C5%82opolska-dla-klimatu\/?trk=public_post-text\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>EcoMalopolska for Climate project<\/strong><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/pl.linkedin.com\/in\/tomasz-pietrusiak-585b34109?trk=public_post-text\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Tomasz Pietrusiak<\/strong><\/a> Deputy Director of the Department of Environment at the Marshal&#8217;s Office of the Malopolska Region.<\/p>\n\n<p>During the \u201cLet&#8217;s get to know each other\u201d session, participants had the opportunity to hear presentations from invited LIFE projects.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/be.linkedin.com\/in\/krzysztof-w%C3%B3jcik-52381a151?trk=public_post-text\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Krzysztof Wojcik<\/strong><\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/be.linkedin.com\/company\/cinea-european-climate-infrastructure-environment-executive-agency?trk=public_post-text\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>CINEA &#8211; European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency<\/strong><\/a> familiarized the attendees with the specifics of LIFE projects and encouraged them to participate in the new calls for 2025.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/pl.linkedin.com\/in\/andrzej-muter-275768254?trk=public_post-text\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Andrzej Muter<\/strong><\/a><strong>, <\/strong>Head of the LIFE Department at the<strong> <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pl.linkedin.com\/company\/nfosigw?trk=public_post-text\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>National Environmental Protection Agency<\/strong><\/a>, gave a presentation on Poland&#8217;s achievements to date in terms of history and previous calls for the use of LIFE project funds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/maciej-pyrka-84a02529\/?originalSubdomain=pl\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Maciej Pyrka<\/strong><\/a>, Expert from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/centrum-analiz-klimatyczno-energetycznych-cake\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>CAKE\/KOBIZE<\/strong><\/a> presented CAKE&#8217;s experience in implementing projects co-financed by LIFE funds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/pl.linkedin.com\/in\/tomaszszyd%C5%82owski?trk=people-guest_people_search-card\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Tomasz Szydlowski<\/strong><\/a><strong>, <\/strong>gave a presentation on the goals, progress, achievements and challenges of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/people\/Life-After-Coal-PL\/61554754651239\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>LifeAfterCoalPL<\/strong><\/a> project<strong> <\/strong>&#8211; Implementing the Strategy for Climate Neutrality of Eastern Wielkopolska 2040.
